From the very beginning we comitted to tradicional y honest cooking. We kept our own chickens, pigs and livestock to create our dishes with as much authenticity as possible. Nowadays this has sadly changed due to all the new health and safety regulations.

      Having said that, we offer traditional spanish cuisine, recovering traditional recipes, with the best quality raw materials, offering a friendly and attentive service, in the impressive setting of a several hundred year old farmhouse.

       As the most representative we offer flame-grilled chorizo, Mesón style black pudding, roast peppers salad with homemade tuna in virgin olive oil, morteruelo (game pâte), migas, iberian ham croquettes or faroles. Our luxurious spanish omelette, which deserves a word of its own.

       Although our kitchen is known for its meats and roasts, we can also surprise you with our fishes, such as seabass baked with tender garlic from Chinchón, a true delight, and cod with homemade tomato sauce, perfect for dipping bread again and again.

       In the largest wood fired oven in Spain, we prepare suckling lamb and suckling pig. It is quite a spectacle to see it working in the mornings. The result is easy to guess.

       The menu is complemented by stews and grilled red meats, among which the Mesón’s soup, Chinchon beans, callos Chinchón-style, galician beef tail stew or “Don Narciso” galician tenderloin steak, honouring the creator of the Mesón, stand out.

       When it comes to desserts, we can proudly say that every one of them is made right here in the Mesón. We highly recommend ”leche frita”, almond meringue cake, our cheesecake or amazing chocolate hazelnut cake.
