Welcome to a place where time has hardly dared to pass. Our Mesón is a 300 hundred year old building listed under the heading “Of Touristic Interest” and protected by the Historic Heritage of the Community of Madrid remains true to its hospitality in order to offer you a unique experience.
With an area of 3,500 square metres, we offer you more than 2,000 metres of museum itinerary in an impeccable state of preservation.
When you visit our Mesón, you will not only enjoy an exceptional meal, but you will also walk where legendary figures once walked. From the mysticism of Orson Welles and the tradition of Manolo Escobar, to the contemporary talent of Adrien Brody and Tom Holland. Our earthenware jars guard the signatures of those who have searched for a refuge and delight here.
Our proposal begins with our ancient oil mill and its black poplar beam, as well as the wine cellar with its mighty earthenware jars — perfectly preserved treasures. It continues with a journey to the deepest and widest caves in the south of Madrid, a true labyrinth of history right beneath your feet. And finally, it ends with the taste of tradition, inviting you to try our roasts from the largest wood fired oven in Spain, where fire and patience create unforgettable flavours.
