At the Mesón Cuevas del Vino Restaurant – Museum we offer our clients traditional Spanish cuisine, resurrecting traditional recipes and offering friendly and attentive service, in the impressive setting of a several hundred year old farmhouse.

As the most representative starters on offer, we have flame-grilled chorizo, Mesón-style morcilla, roast peppers, morteruelo, migas, Iberico croquettes, faroles or escaramuza.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our home cooking style specializes in wood-oven roasts: suckling pig and lamb. The menu is rounded off with stews and grilled red meat. The “Sopa del Mesón”, Chinchonera beans, Chinchón-style tripe, bull tail, flank steak and rump steak are some of the delicious offerings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the dessert section we offer home-made delights, such as wafers with honey, fried milk, almond sweets, cheesecake, fig confit…

Regarding wine, we have a short, though well selected, list of Spanish and foreign wines. The house wine, a young local wine, is served in the typical “frasquilla”, straight from the wineskin, just like we have for the last couple of decades.
